Data Embassy as a Service: Trusted Connectivity on a strategic level
In 2017, Estonia and Luxembourg signed an agreement establishing the world’s first Data Embassy in Luxembourg.
In November 2021 Greenergy - a new large-scale purpose-built data center - will be opened in Estonia creating unique possibilities to offer Data Embassy as a service to nation states, ensuring their countries' digital continuity with particular respect to critical databases.

International cooperation, geopolitics & critical digital infrastructure
In 2013 the Prime Ministers of Estonia and Finland, Andrus Ansip and Jyrki Katainen, closed the world’s first digitally signed international agreement. The countries agreed to cooperate on developing open-source software and ecosystem solutions that provide unified and secure data exchange between organisations: the X-Road®.
In the end-of-day panel we will invite thought leaders and politicians from both Estonia & Finland to discuss the importance of the project and the possibilities to invite other countries to join the project.
